About Northshore Speech Therapy

At Northshore Speech Therapy, we are committed to providing the highest standard of individualized, evidence based therapy to meet each child’s communication needs. We are passionate about giving a child their voice! Our goal is to develop functional communication for each child to feel empowered through verbalization and/or use of an alternative and augmentative communication device.

Meet the Owner

Lauren (Tasiopoulos) Broches is a licensed pediatric speech-language pathologist. Lauren has worked in a variety of settings, providing therapy in schools, private pediatric clinics, as well as in-home speech/language services. She is a passionate and caring provider who exudes positivity. Lauren is constantly learning and evolving her skills as a therapy provider to be the very best speech-language pathologist. She is a caring individual who believes in focusing upon the strengths of each child and finding the best treatment options for communicative success! Lauren received her Bachelor of Science in Speech Language Pathology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and her Master’s of Science in Speech-Language Pathology at Midwestern University. She is a certified member of the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Lauren founded Northshore Speech Therapy to provide in-home pediatric therapy care to the suburban Illinois communities.
